简历:
       1982年毕业于华中农业大学微生物专业;1988年于英国 John Innes 研究中心获博士学位;1988年起在华中农业大学任教,历任讲师、副教授、教授;2000年始任上海交通大学教授、博导。 2001-2003年 兼美国康乃尔大学客座教授。国家973项目首席科学家,国家自然科学基金委员会生命科学部第四届专家咨询委员会委员和学科评审组成员。《Chemistry & Biology》,《BMC Microbiology》,《Process Biochemistry》等数十个国内外刊物编辑或编委。2005 年当选为中国科学院院士;2006 年当选为第三世界科学院院士(Fellow, TWAS);2010年当选美国微生物科学院院士(Fellow, AAM)。
       长期从事微生物代谢的分子生物学研究,主攻放线菌遗传学及抗生素生物合成的化学生物学,打开DNA硫化修饰新领域,在国内外学术刊物上发表170余篇学术论文。先后获得国家自然科学二等奖(2008)、上海市(2004)和农业部科技进步一等奖(1994)、教育部自然科学二等奖(2007)、“瑞典国王 Baudiouin奖”(1997)等。蝉联2005、2006年中国高校十大科技进展,获评《环球科学》2007全球十大科学新闻。1990年以来,相 继被授予国家级有突出贡献的专家(1991)、霍英东基金会“青年教师奖”(1991)、首届“中国青年科学家奖”提名奖(1993)、首届国家杰出青年 科学基金(1994)、“中国青年科技奖”(1994)、“上海市十大科技创新英才”(2005)、上海市科技领军人物(2006)、上海市劳动模范 (2007)、全国五一劳动奖章(2008)、全国先进工作者(2010)、何梁何利奖(2012)等。
