The Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology (MML) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University investigates bioactive secondary metabolites of microorganisms and phosphorothioation of the DNA backbone by using various state-of-the-art approaches involved in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genomics, bioinformatics and synthetic biology. With a platform for biological and bio-medicinal research programs, we hope to lay a solid foundation for education and R&D to facilitate the development of the molecular and microbiological research in China.
